Concealed Hinge
The aim of the concealed hinge is usually to offer a smooth appearance to the kitchen cabinet exterior. The main benefit of using concealed hinges beside the decorative functions is that they allow adjustments to be made easily to kitchen cabinet doors even after installation basically by unfastening tiny adjustment screws. Cabinet doors with concealed hinges can be detached easily since the hinges don’t need to be removed entirely from the doors.
Basically, concealed hinges are available in three styles: the full overlay, the half overlay, and the insert. The full overlay is the most frequently used style in kitchen cabinets and can be identified easily by a characteristic straight arm design. The insert style is commonly used in cabinets with glass doors. Concealed hinges offer more security and are easy to maintain. They also eliminate the need for a prominent frame when constructing cabinet doors with a self-closing feature.
