Drop In Sink
A drop-in sink is one that has an outward rim which sits on the countertop and enables the sink to be easily installed. A drop-in sink is among the most popular sink designs and can be simply installed by lowering it into an appropriate space created in the countertop. The rim extends around the counter and bears the entire weight of the drop-in sink. Clamps are present beneath the sink to help make it more stable.
Drop-in sinks are made from different materials such as porcelain, granite and stainless steel. Some sinks come with holes for the attachment of faucets while in others, the faucet is placed on the countertop directly.
