Fake Drawer Front
A fake drawer front is the term for materials that look like a drawer box even when not fastened to a drawer box. Fake drawer fronts only serve aesthetic purposes and have no opening behind. A fake drawer front gives the impression of a drawer but is not attached to any drawer box. A fake drawer front is only installed on the face of the kitchen cabinet so that it looks as if a drawer is present in the room. Fake drawer fronts are widely used to maintain the visual line produced by the remaining cabinet or drawer openings.

They are usually used in spaces where a drawer might not be ideal, for example directly beneath sinks. Fake drawer fronts are often attached using strong adhesives like contact cement. Alternatively, they can be fastened in place using bolts or screws. A small recessed spaced if present in the kitchen cabinets can also permit the attachment of a fake drawer front to the face frame.
