Laminate
Laminate is a substitute for hardwood cabinetry. The term laminate refers to a construction style that uses manufactured wood as the substrate material which is then covered using different types of skins to make the project look just like hardwood or to provide another finished look. In times past, this style was widely criticized as a low-quality alternative that shouldn't be considered but as time passed, this changed. These days, a lot of homeowners are embracing laminates as a practical substitute due to the impressive improvements currently being made to engineered wood products.
The elegance is derived from the fact that both granulated wood and chips are used to create the wood core which is often recycled and bonded with resin under high temperature and pressure. The completed boards possess a price and strength that makes laminate competitive with almost all hardwoods. Each time laminate is used, modern styles can easily be achieved which sustains a perspective consistent with contemporary decoration and environmental friendliness.
