A wall angel cabinet is a type of cabinet with a front face that matches the flat run of the entire cabinets but has a back side which is cut to fit a wall corner. These type of cabinets can also be called corner cabinets but not every wall angle cabinet is made for a wall corner. Occasionally, because of electrical and plumbing requirements, walls may be designed with an inlay or angular section. In such cases, the installation of a wall angle cabinet reduces the interference with the room's symmetry by conforming to the contours or angles of the wall structure without needing to disturb the aesthetics of the cabinet run.

 

One problem with many wall angle cabinets is the fact that their irregular structure might limit their functionality because their internal storage space is not as uniform as the dimensions of standard cabinets. In this case, then most cabinet makers will instantly add a lazy Susan to cabinets that exceed standard dimensions. Shelves that are custom shaped are incorporated into cabinets that are not up to standard dimensions. Either way, the functionality of these cabinets should be maintained while also retaining an appealing exterior despite the irregular dimensions of the cabinets.
